Below are some of the organizations GCC currently partners with worldwide. GCC always welcomes new community partners so feel free to contact us for more information.
Mayan Mayor & Council - El Quiche, Guatemala
The Mayan Mayor and Council work within a small municipality located in the department of El Quiche, Guatemala to empower the municipality's indigenous population through educational workshops, counseling services and cultural activities. Furthermore, they work to preserve the incredibly rich Mayan culture that unfortunately is dying out due to racism and discrimination. Currently, GCC is partnering with the Mayan Mayor and Council to build a Mayan Educational Cultural Center that will include a bilingual library, a natural medicine pharmacy and a space for the Mayan Mayor to provide its services to the people. Our goal is that through education we can combat the discrimination against Mayan populations while also giving them the tools and knowledge they need to be empowered.
